Cathedral Chapter

The Cathedral Chapter is St. Paul’s governing body. Its lay leaders work with the Dean and Bishop to care for the Cathedral’s finances, property, and future, supporting our shared life and mission.

How the Chapter serves St. Paul’s

Members of the Chapter serve prayerfully and collaboratively. Their responsibilities include:

  • Approving the annual operating budget
  • Overseeing financial stewardship and long-term sustainability
  • Caring for Cathedral property and facilities
  • Supporting major strategic initiatives
  • Providing governance and policy oversight

Spiritual oversight rests with the Bishop of Iowa and the Dean. The Chapter works in partnership with them to support the Cathedral’s mission faithfully and sustainably.
