Wednesday 12:05 pm
Midweek Eucharist
The carillon rings at noon, followed by a quiet spoken service of Holy Eucharist at 12:05 pm in St. Paul’s Chapel, with scripture, prayer, Communion, a short homily, and conversation.
“I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord.” Psalm 122:1
A Quiet Midweek Pause
Step away from the noise of the week and join us Wednesdays as the carillon rings at noon, followed by a simple spoken service of Holy Eucharist at 12:05 pm in St. Paul’s Chapel, located on the lower level of the Cathedral.
This brief midweek service includes Scripture, prayer, Communion, and a short homily, often inspired by the saint or feast of the day. The homily is followed by relaxed conversation and reflection.
Whether you work downtown, are retired, have a flexible schedule, or are simply looking for a peaceful place to pray, you are welcome.
Plan Your VisitHow We Worship
Episcopal worship is both ancient and living. It is shaped by scripture, prayer, silence, music, preaching, and the sacraments.
At St. Paul’s, the service follows a printed bulletin, so you do not need to know the prayers or responses before you arrive. The congregation participates through listening, praying, singing, standing, sitting, and receiving Communion.
You are welcome to take part in a way that feels comfortable. If you feel lost at first, do not worry. Your presence is enough.
What to ExpectMusic, Holy Days, and Special Services
Cathedral worship follows the rhythm of the Christian year.
Music in Worship
Music helps the congregation pray. The 10:00 am Choral Eucharist includes choir, organ, hymns, and congregational singing.
Holy Days
We worship through Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Ascension, Pentecost, and the feast days that shape the life of the Church.
Evensong and Cathedral Services
Choral Evensong, diocesan liturgies, and special services invite the wider community into prayer, music, and beauty.
