Cathedral Arts at St. Paul’s
A Living Arts Ministry in the Heart of the City
Cathedral Arts at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral exists to share the beauty and power of the arts with the wider community. Through music, visual art, and performance, we open the cathedral as a place where creativity, reflection, and connection can flourish.
Rooted in the sacred life of the cathedral and shaped by the artists and audiences who gather here, Cathedral Arts welcomes people of all backgrounds to experience art that is thoughtful, generous, and alive.
A Living Tradition
The arts have long shaped life at St. Paul’s.
Sacred music, choral worship, and instrumental performance have helped form how this community gathers and prays.
Cathedral Arts continues that work today. We honor the musicians, artists, and volunteers who built this tradition, while allowing it to grow and respond to the present moment.
Music in Sacred Space
Music remains central to Cathedral Arts. Performances take place within the architecture and acoustics of the cathedral, inviting listeners into focused attention and shared experience.
Our offerings include:
Choral Evensong
Organ recitals by local, regional, and visiting artists
Carillon concerts and seasonal music
Community concerts held in the cathedral
You are welcome to attend whether you come for worship, for music, or simply to listen.
Upcoming Events
Visual and Emerging Arts
Cathedral Arts is expanding to include visual and interdisciplinary arts.
Current and developing work includes rotating exhibitions in the Guild Hall, opportunities for artists to show work in a sacred setting, and future collaborations that may include spoken word, performance, and community-based projects.
These programs invite visitors to experience the cathedral in new ways and to engage art as part of shared reflection.
Looking Ahead
Cathedral Arts is entering a period of growth.
In the coming years, we plan to expand visual arts programming, build partnerships with artists and organizations, support emerging artists, and offer programs that reflect the creativity of our wider community.
As this work grows, we remain committed to welcoming all.
